Membership and How to Join


The society operate an open membership scheme avoiding the inconvenience of waiting lists and nomination procedures.
The membership year runs from January 1st until December 31st of the same year.

The membership rates for 2009 are as follows:

Senior£28
Veteran£12
Disabled Anglers£12
Ladies£12
Juniors (under 16)£7

Membership cards are available now at the usual outlets.
Note that the Joining Fee has been abolished.

It is a rule of the society that all members be in possession of a valid Environment Agency Rod Licence at all times. A rod licence is required by all anglers aged 12 years or over. A single licence permits the holder to use two rods at any time. Any angler wanting to use more than two rods at once must purchase a second licence.
